Down Da Sneck

Having spent most of the day climbing upwards it was now time to go in the opposite direction, DOWN.
Da Sneck is a piece of the cliff face which split from the main cliff leaving a gap of about two metres wide and over 100 feet deep.
As this is quite a tricky climb it is not advisable for first time visitors to attempt this without an experienced guide, to this end we would like to thank Fran and her husband Magnus for their invitation for us to join them on this climb and to experience the beauty of the boulder beach at the end. This will certainly be one of the highlights of our time in Shetland.
